Gloria Savoie is a manager of Thomas Neches & Company. She specializes in providing financial and economic analyses for litigation-related matters. Ms. Savoie received her BA in Economics-Business from the University of California, Los Angeles and her MBA from the University of Southern California. Before joining Thomas Neches & Company, Ms. Savoie was a manager in the Financial Consulting Group of Deloitte & Touche in its Los Angeles office. In this position she valued closely-held businesses, conducted financial investigations of alleged embezzlement and other improper acts, and provided operational improvement consulting. Before this she worked at Edward Jones & Associates, a Los Angeles-based management consulting firm, where she performed financial and pre-transaction due diligence, prepared business plans, evaluated the financial risk of bank lending practices, managed the liquidation of assets for insolvent businesses, and assisted expert witnesses in preparation for deposition and trial testimony. Before this Ms. Savoie was a supervisor in the Corporate Financial Services Group of KPMG Peat Marwick in its Hong Kong office, where she prepared reports of accountants for new listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, reviewed the books and records of companies for contractual compliance, and investigated allegations of securities fraud and violations of Securities & Futures Commission rules and regulations. Before this Ms. Savoie worked as an independent consultant. She developed distribution channels in South Africa for a Hong Kong-based garment manufacturer, developed a Hong Hong/Taiwan market entry strategy for seafood from South Africa for a Hong Kong importer, and sourced raw materials and finished goods from China for a U.S. medical supply distributor. Before this Ms. Savoie was an analyst in the Litigation Consulting Group of Freeman & Mills, a Los Angeles-based management consulting firm specializing in litigation services. While at Freeman & Mills Ms. Savoie conducted industry research, performed financial analyses, created and managed document databases, and was a member of the statistical analysis team for the Christopher Commission investigation of the Los Angeles Police Department. |
